Release the tension on the belt by rotating Belt Tension/Tracking Adjustment Knob by a few turns.

Pull the sanding belt off the rollers

While pushing the top roller down, place the new sanding belt (686mm x 50mm) in the centre of the top and bottom rollers.

Now tighten the red Belt Tension/Tracking Adjustment Knob and fit the side safety cover. Take care to pull the top roller straight when tightening the knob.

You should not need to adjust the Belt Limit Adjustment Screw (below the red knob).

If required you can adjust the belt tracking with the Belt Limit Adjustment Screw and adjusting the precision of the belt run with a screwdriver.

NOTE: Precise adjustment of the belt run is best done by turning the sanding belt by hand.

Once you have adjusted the belt tracking, retighten the nut with a spanner (not supplied).
